Pass it on…

26 May

Oh how I moaned about giving our children vaccinations as we prepared for our trip.  I told all and sundry about the horror.  The children screamed and wailed and had to be literally dragged to the doctors’, and then pinned down when we got there.  I dreaded each of our many trips, and spent a fortune on bribes.

But, I am lucky.  I have a choice.  I am able to protect my children.  Each year four million children die because they don’t have access to vaccines.  Vaccines that are freely available but can’t currently get to where they’re needed.

My lovely friend Chris Mosler, has been asked by Save the Children to help them highlight this iniquity.  She’s travelling with them to Mozambique to see their wonderful work first hand and to make a big noise.  You see, there’s a global meeting being hosted by David Cameron on 13th June to discuss making available the necessary funds.  It’s been proved that it could happen, that every child could be vaccinated, but they need to know that we’re watching them, that we care.  This is where you come in…

All you need to do is sign a petition, and then Pass It On.  It’s easy:

1) Click here and sign the petition to save four million children’s lives

2) Click here to download your Pass It On gift tag

3) Print it, sign it and Pass it On, and on, and on, and on…… to friends, schools, local shops, random strangers.

Go on then, what are you waiting for?

You’re so right – it wasn’t a pleasant experience for your kids (or you) but you had that option. Thanks for passing it on lovely lady xxx
