A short list of things I’ve learnt this week

12 Feb

1) Once you figure it out, automatic check in at the airport is actually quite easy. It helps if you use the kiosks belonging to the right airline.

2) Aussie day time TV is atrociously bad. It’s basically QVC without the phonelines.

3) Segways are big in the antipodes.

4) Having three children is awkward on the taxi front.

5) Do not attempt to survive Sydney’s hottest night on record without aircon. Sweaty.

6) Fake snakes can be used to keep ducks out of your swimming pool.

7) Girl koalas are both prettier and smell nicer than their boy counterparts. I did not make this up.

fake snakes? I wonder would that work for stray cats in my garden? Sounds like you’re having a ball… am still laughing at the taxi one – we’ve just become 5 so that’s one to remember!
