4. Sillibanz are really popular here. Really popular.
5. Despite being marketing geniuses, selling absolutely everything Disneyfied, including Mickey crocs, the range of Disneyland postcards is surprisingly small.
6. Kung-Fu Panda 2 is coming out next May.
7. They have very cool Lego stores with a much better range of Toy Story 3 Lego than in the UK. You can get a Lotso minifig.
8. There is no food to which you can’t add sugar.

Elastic bands in different shapes. They have no purpose whatsoever, but children seem to love them.
I’m very excited bu numbers 6 and 7 … but wondering what sillibanz are.
Basically overpriced elastic bands.
I always thought Tylenol was something altogether stronger – how disappointing. Did you point out the goofy ears issue to the grown man? I hope you did….
Tylenol seemed pretty tame when I took it. And it’s men plural. Many men. It would have taken too long to point it out to all of them. Besides, I’m polite you know.
Thank you – during my secret life of loving all American programmes and books I have always wondered what Tylenol was but never found out.

1: Photos please!!! 2: excellent thats just solved my Christmas shopping dilemmas and 8: just wait till you get to Asia – you’ll discover there’s just nothing in the world that can’t be eaten with sweetened condensed milk or sugar. My kids are going to be diabetic if we don’t leave soon. Even savoury cheese bread rolls have a sprinkling of sugar!!!

I have been reading your blog for a while now. For some reason I lost the bookmark last week and just couldn’t remember the name of this wonderful blog. I’m glad I finally tracked you down, however, I must say it was really, really tough. A google search with the keywords “traveling with kids 9 month holiday” under blogs, was a dismal failure.

In the US, paracetemol’s “generic” equivalent is Acetaminofin (and Tylenol). If you want Ibuprofen go for Advil. The best part of both of these is that you can buy bottles of 200-500 caplets! It’s BRILLIANT!!!! You’ll never need either again! Giant bottles! I miss those!
