Well that’s a lot safer than those Deadliest Catch chappies crab fishers 🙂 Good training tho and excellent handling!

Ooh, I’ll have to check out Deadliest Catch. Ned would LOVE it!

I’m not frightened of very many things. Spiders don’t phase, me, nor mice, nor creepy crawlies. But crabs give me the heebie jeebies. Ned is FAR braver than me!

Ned has eaten a scorpion. He is definitely brave.

That is one gorgeous picture. Not sure I like the crab but little boy is adorable! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you. He does have rather impressive eye lashes.

I LOVE catching crabs! I miss stumbling around in the shallow water looking for those little crawlers when I was a kid. Awsome.

He was very proud that he’d managed to pick it up for the photo.

There is definitely a technique to it if you want to avoid being nipped.

We did this the past summer too. Found three different kinds of crab! The kids loved it and wanted to bring them all home as pets.

      Our children did too!

Very cute picture, not fond of crabs unless it’s snow crab in a hot pot with some noodles 😀

Hee hee your little man is very brave. My two girls are wussy and would never pick a crab up, but we do like to go crabbing and rock pooling. 😀

I love rock pooling too. Poking about with sticks never gets old.

Having seen your vlog earlier today, I can confidently say he looks JUST like you. My goodness!
Gorgeous photo and something you would never ever catch me doing . . .

He does. At least he has youth and fab eyelashes on his side.

I was a tiny bit scared to click on this because I thought there was going to be a picture of 26 crabs!
But one, I can handle. He’s actually sort of cute.
And your little ‘un’s adorable 🙂

At least it wasn’t a picture of one of those places the entire ground is covered in crabs, which you have to step on to walk down the road…

      • littledude's mummy 12/03/2010 at 7:51 pm #

        Such a places exists??!
I am freaked out just knowing that.
