We went to the beach. A lot. Our favourite with Kuhio Beach Park, great sand, shallow, safe water, people watching, McDonald’s nearby for wifi. Who could ask for more?
The aquarium was very good, highlights included the nautilus and Hawaiian Monk Seals.
The free hula show on the beach was everything it should be.
The Bishop Museum was fabulous and we had a great day. Highlights for me were the Hawaiian Hall, beautiful carved wood, pretty hinges, a fantastic collection. The children loved the Science Centre with it’s exploding volcano, lava demonstration and dressing up. We all liked the Planetarium where we learnt about navigating by the stars.
Glow in the dark 3D crazy golf was quite an experience. My eyes couldn’t focus for about half an hour afterwards.
